It's been a while since I've posted a blog entry.
Life has been good. I've been living in Minneapolis six months now, and am mostly settled. And business is going well!
I decided since I was so slow to get a shop embedded in my actual webpage, I'd get an Etsy shop up and running. (My logic? People trust Etsy! And I procrastinate.) It makes me a little nervous, starting a shop with no reviews. So far, all my reviews have been in person! But now that I'm selling online, I am nationwide (worldwide?) and I am unknown. But hopefully not for long!
There's also a Marketplace sale tomorrow. I am looking forward to it; I always enjoy vending fairs, and the opportunity to talk to friends and local kinksters. It's also the first Marketplace where I am not a group leader, though. It was by my own choice to step down, but it still is sad, and "the end of an era", as another leader put it.
Craftingwise, I've had some awesome ideas, but less time to implement them. I've finished a few floggers - buffalo and deer - and have a tiger striped rabbit flogger on the workshop table that should be done soon. And coming up will be black rabbit and black suede, both with copper handles. I am low on copper floggers! And a few other ideas for totally new products as well, but I'll keep quiet about that.
All in all, though, life is good. One downside, though - Fallout 4 is coming out soon. Very soon. And if there's one thing that's going to make me unproductive as hell, that will be it. And I don't think I'll have the opportunity to up my leather crafting skill while wandering the wastelands!
