It's a little bit steampunk, a little bit forest elf, and all sensuality!
This flogger has 64 falls in chocolate and forest green suede, each 5/8ths of an inch wide, and buttery soft. The handle is brushed copper that has been flame-pained to a warm glow. A beautiful piece and a great tool for warm-ups and sensation play!
This flogger was donated to a WILL (Women's International Leather Legacy) contestant fundraiser, for the 2016 titleholder.
When I make a flogger, I want it to be as beautiful as it is functional. So I'm very happy with how this flogger turned out! The falls are medium-weight black suede, a half-inch wide, and are 40, total. Being suede, they are slightly rough on both sides - very fun for sensation play. The handle is what really shines, though - literally! It's made of brushed copper, which gives it a slight prismatic effect. Then I heated it with a blowtorch to bring out some beautiful colors. Finally, the handle is wrapped in crossing pieces of black leather, accented with copper rivets.
This flogger was made as half of a pair - the other half done in copper and black rabbit!
I love a flogger with a story.
They were commissioned by a friend who had a very special request. He's a hunter, and had two deer hides that he wanted made into floggers. Not only did he shoot the deer himself, he also brain-tanned his own hides. The result was a pair of deer hides that felt absolutely amazing, and were also incredibly valuable. And he wanted me to turn them into floggers.
We both were very pleased with the results. I got to experiment and craft something that reflected him - note the subtle camo pattern in the handle braid! And he got a pair of floggers that have special meaning to him, cannot be found anywhere else, and feel wonderful!
Medusa - she'll freeze you with just a look....
This flogger is made of deer leather, but not your ordinary deer leather. This is emerald green nubuck deer - it's been buffed on the top side, so both sides of the fall are velvet-soft and buttery. It's like suede, but even better! This is a soft and thuddy flogger, great for sensual play, or warming up and cooling down. There are forty-four total falls, each a half-inch wide. The handle is brushed copper, given a dark patina, then coated so it resists tarnishing. The hanging lanyard is also green leather.
This flogger is currently available for sale at my Etsy store!
I love getting special custom orders, ones that stretch my boundaries. I got a request to make a matching pair of palm floggers out of deer leather, with a double twist in each fall. I'd never made something in this style before (twists, yes. palm floggers? no!) So taking on the project was an adventure
The recipient was also very specific on where they wanted the twists, the length of the falls, even how long the loops were on top. In the end, we were both very happy with the resulting pair of floggers!
The floggers are an exact match in weight and color, except for one tiny detail. On one flogger, the ends on the falls have a left-facing cut. On the other flogger, the ends slant right!
I wanted a flogger that would be comfortable for many people to use. And I still wanted a flogger that reflected me. This was the result - a flogger that is all black, until it's thrown. Then it reveals a core or teal and purple falls!
There was something about the softness of this leather, something about the creamy color, that begged to be paired with pink. To make a flogger that looks almost delicate. I tried to echo that in the braiding - you'll rarely see such a fine braid used on the knots of a flogger.
Despite it's crazy namesake, this flogger is anything but! Deer leather is soft and silky, and this flogger boasts SEVENTY-SEVEN half-inch wide falls. That provides a really nice thud! The handle is also done in braided deer leather, in a twisted diamond pattern, so whomever holds it also gets to experience the wonderful feel of deer.
I want to make it a tradition, to make a flogger for each year's Ms. Minnesota Leather Pride titleholder. They usually hold a raffle to help defray costs, so what better to donate than a leather pride themed flogger?
This year's flogger is a deer flogger in blue, white and black. The falls are a half-inch wide, 18" long....and there are 100 of them. Yup, a full hundred falls on this mop! Because deer is a lighter leather, it is still well-balanced, and easy to through. Not too heavy, but making a beautiful sound and a nice thuddy feel.
Plus, there's a shiny heart on the end. :) Everyone likes a heart!
...those who are easily shocked, should be shocked more often.
This flogger is made of teal deer leather, which is soft and sensual. Deer makes a great warm-up and cool down flogger, and is also perfect for people just getting into impact play (bottoms AND tops!) It -can- shock though; swing it with a purpose and it's sure to be felt! The 36 falls on this flogger are half-inch wide (technically there are 37 falls, but one was cut where there was in a hole in the hide, so it may break. For now, it's a bonus fall!) The handle is braided in a matching teal blue and black leather in a diamond pattern, and is thinner than standard. Easy to use for anyone, but perfect for people with smaller hands! Even the hanging lanyard is braided to match!
This flogger is currently available for sale at my Etsy store!
"O thou invisible spirit of wine, if thou hast no name to be known by, let us call thee devil." - Shakespeare
Such a beautiful red wine color! This flogger is made of deer leather, but not your ordinary deer leather. This is heavy, dense deer - 3-4 ounces thick! This makes it comparable to elk floggers - heavy, thuddy, and still buttery soft. The color is also exquisite - dark burgundy on the upper side of the falls, and clear red on the suede side. There are forty-six total falls, each a half-inch wide. The handle is braided in a matching red and black leather in a spiral pattern. Even the hanging lanyard is braided to match!
There's something seductive in the shadows...
This flogger is made of deer leather, which is soft and sensual. Deer makes a great warm-up and cool down flogger, and is also perfect for people just getting into impact play (bottoms AND tops!) The falls on this flogger are half-inch wide, 31 black and 31 blue falls, for a total of 62 falls. The handle is braided in a matching blue and black leather in a spiral pattern. Even the hanging lanyard is braided to match!
When a hunter is lucky enough to shoot a bear, how many of them would want to tan that bear with the hair off? Those thick bearskin rugs are just too tempting! But every so often I can find good bear leather. And when I do, I make sure to get it!
Bear leather is just a bit lighter and stiffer than elk, making it have a bit more sting at the ends than a normal soft flogger. And do you know anyone, anyone at all, who has a bear leather flogger in their toybag?
This flogger was a custom piece, 42 falls that are over 22" long. The handle is braided in bear and deer for a soft grip, and braided in a "diamond X" pattern.
Want a flogger with a bite?
I'm sorry to say, the pictures don't do this flogger justice. The leather is bright, shiny, metallic red. But the finish doesn't take away from the softness of the leather at all, it's still very flexible. And look closely at the end of the falls; instead of being cut straight across, they're notched like a viper's tongue. Careful, this one bites!
This flogger is made up of two different weights of leather. There's a very lightweight black calf leather, and a slightly heavier red metallic leather. (That metallic red leather really catches the light - it's sure to turn heads!) There's thirty falls of each color, for sixty total falls! They're also paired and twisted together, giving a very fun effect! At the top of each fall there is a twist, a metallic red heart, then a second twist, letting the two falls separate below. The ends of the falls are also pointed; coupled with the lightness of the leather, this makes the flogger very stingy! The handle is braided in matching black and red leather in a traditional diamond braid.
Go ahead. Treat yourself. Be a little decadent!
This flogger is made of soft, heavy, caramel-colored elk leather. Elk is a medium-weight leather, making it thuddy, but not TOO intense. It has full fifty - yes, fifty - half-inch wide falls. More falls equals heaver thud - and a louder noise on impact! They are paired with a handle done in dark brown braided leather. Chocolate-colored leather, if you will. All in all, it's a very decadent flogger that will leave them craving more!
The whisper of a storm on the horizon...
This flogger is made of soft, heavy, teal elk leather. Elk is a medium-weight leather, making it thuddy, but not TOO intense. It has forty-two half-inch wide falls. More falls equals heaver thud - and a louder noise on impact! The falls are paired with a handle done in brushed copper that has been flame painted. That brings out beautiful colors, and it will develop a unique patina as you use it. It also has a spiral of matching teal leather to provide a better grip. It's a unique color combination that you won't find anywhere else, and it's as much a treat to feel as to see!
This flogger is made of soft, heavy, blue and black elk leather, concealing a shiny surprise - a core of metallic green! Elk is a medium-weight leather, making it thuddy, but not TOO intense, while the core is stiffer letting it sting in the right hand. It has seventy-seven half-inch wide falls, 30 black, 30 midnight blue, and 17 metallic green, over 20" long. More falls equals heaver thud - and a louder noise on impact! They are paired with a handle done in black braided leather with green and blue diamonds. The hanging lanyard is even braided in a matching pattern!
This flogger was a custom order, and both the colors and design have special meaning for the client. Those are my favorite orders to do!
I don't usually so copycat floggers, but....
When I had someone tell me just how much they loved the "Decadence" elk flogger their former partner had, and could I please make them one of their own....how could I refuse? So, the copycat was born. Made from the same elk hide, with the same number of falls and the same weight, I tried to get the feeling as close to the original as possible. But since I don't like making two floggers exactly the same, this one got a slightly different handle. Instead of solid brown, this one has little caramel squares. And it's still such a treat!

This flogger is made of soft, heavy, black elk leather. Elk is a medium-weight leather, making it thuddy, but not TOO intense. It has sixty half-inch wide falls! More falls equals heaver thud - and a louder noise on impact! They are paired with a handle done in braided leather with a metallic green and black spiral.
This moosehide has been my most favorite leather that has crossed my workshop table so far. Despite the slightly unusual color, it was amazing. Soft and pliable, but still so heavy. Just beautiful.
And it made a beautiful flogger. Since the moose was forest green, I paired it with a rust brown leather to enhance the woodsy feel. It has since found a good home.
It's a beautifully matched pair of green and black moosehide floggers. The falls are a half-inch wide, and are arranged as a green core, circled with black. The floggers are perfectly matched in length and weight (+/- 5 grams, because scales wobble a bit) and the only difference is the handles. One is striped black and green, running in a clockwise spiral. The other is the same colors, but running counterclockwise! The handles are braided in the same leather as the falls, so the person wielding the floggers will get almost as awesome as experience as the bottom.
Moose leather is one of the favorite leathers for floggers, and it's not hard to see why. Moose leather is dense, heavy, thuddy, and has none of the bite the stiffer leathers like buffalo can have. It is soft and has the strong, traditional "leather" smell. And the slap of the leather against skin can be so loud, it can turn heads across the room. You can't beat moose, but beating with moose can't be beat! This flogger has 42 falls, each 1/2" wide. The handle is braided in harlequin dyed leather, one stripe in black, one stripe in jewel tones of red, yellow, blue and purple checks.
Almost as heavy as buffalo, with a beautiful grain, and available in lots of fun colors - it's bullhide!
Instead of the more common half-inch wide falls, these are only 1/4th of an inch wide. Combined with the heaviness of the leather, it could be either stingy or thuddy, depending on how you use it. Plus, it's purple! Everyone likes purple.
This was another flogger that was a joy to make. A friend and local titleholder (Ms Minnesota Leather Pride) was holding a fundraiser to help with travel expenses, and asked if I would be willing to donate something.
I chose to make a special piece just for her raffle - a buffalo leather flogger, done in leather pride colors. It is as beautiful as it is functional!
This is a monster of a flogger. Almost 50 falls of heavy buffalo leather provide a big thud. I won't lie, at three and a half pounds, it might be a top killer. But think of it this way - it's a great workout, and your bottom will thank you for every swing!
This flogger has found a home.
Every dungeon is different. Being flogged in a bright living room can be just as fun as in a dark basement. But sometimes you want to evoke a certain mood. And this flogger does just that.
It's black. ALL black. The forty falls are heavy black buffalo - 1/2" wide and 20" long. This makes for a heavy, deeply thuddy, flogger! The handle is all black too - braided black leather. The only embellishment is silver studs: in a ring at the top and bottom of the handle, and on the outermost later of falls. The combination of silver and black is understated, and even a little sexy. This flogger would look at home in a medieval torture chamber...or your toybag. Either place, it will get the job done!
This flogger has gone to a special home.
